I submitted my application online, and I found that my experience closely matched the requirements of the position. However, I was taken aback when I received an automated rejection email just a few hours after applying, without any opportunity to seek feedback on the reasons for my decline. I would also like to highlight that, as a healthcare organization, El Camino Health seems to lack empathy towards candidates who have been affected by Covid-19 layoffs and may have employment gaps as a result. It is important to acknowledge that many companies were not actively hiring during the pandemic. I strongly urge El Camino Health to reconsider the effectiveness of their auto-decline email system and review the practices of their talent team, as this experience has been extremely disappointing.
