I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Electronic Arts (Vancouver, BC) in Jun 2023
Interview
Truthfully, there isn't much to say about the position of Data Wrangler. There isn't a lot of room for new solutions or creative approaches - it's essentially just copying & pasting files, but with a few extra degrees of surety and accountability. It's not rocket science, but it's very useful to have dedicated personnel for the task so it is taken seriously, and is not treated as an afterthought by busier employees with other tasks. For this interview, I spoke with a recruiter who seemed unfamiliar with the tasks of the job I was applying for. They mostly asked me simple yes/no questions that could have been answered by a web form, and were unable to answer my own questions for them about workflows and technology that they utilize. I understand that corporate interviews are a multi-stage process, but it would have been nice if there was at least minimal representation at the interview from the department I was applying for. With that being said, the recruiter was polite and respectful throughout, and was kind enough to answer some follow-up questions after the process was over, which I appreciated.

Question 1
The only question I remember was something along the lines of "Have you had an experience where data loss or other technical problems caused a significant delay in your assignment?"
