I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Electronic Arts (Vancouver, BC) in Mar 2017

The interview process was on site over two days. First day was a one on one with an Art Director. Second day was a meet up with a group of team Leads and the same Art Director. I was given a short introduction by each Lead, in which they provided titles and job descriptions. They then proceeded to go through my Art Work, while asking job related questions.

      Application

I interviewed at Electronic Arts (Los Angeles, CA)

      Interview

Short with recruiter who didn't know anything about the role. Felt like I had to explain my job for the most part instead of talking about the role. Could have spent more time researching beforehand than directly in the interview wasting both our times.

      Interview

After submitting my application on Linkedin I heard back from a recruiter a few weeks later. I did a quick intro call with the recruiter. She set me up with an initial interview with the studio's art director. He went over the goals of the company and gave me an introduction to the project they were working on. We then went over my experience in the game industry. After that I was scheduled for several more interviews with the lead environment artists, the lead tech artists, and the studio manager. Going over my experience and discussing workflows and processes.
