The interview process lasted more than four months and included seven meetings. During this time, leadership changes occurred, causing one of the interview stages to be reset. Several questions were unrelated to my core expertise, focusing more on marketing rather than creative experience. If the focus had been on discussing my relevant experience, the process would have made much more sense. In the end, I was told my background aligned more with marketing than creative, which led to a rejection. Ultimately, I have no desire to work for a company with such processes, and I regret the time I invested, but the points listed above are worth mentioning so future applicants can plan for a process that may take up to half a year.
The recruiter and former team leader were professional and pleasant, and I believe they would be great to work with. However, EA’s overall process felt inefficient, overly prolonged, hectic, and random, which could be a concern for potential candidates.
