I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Electronic Arts in Feb 2014
Interview
I applied online and was contacted very soon afterwards by a recruiter. He asked me for my availability to set-up a technical phone interview with an engineer from the Digital Platform team. I sent my availability, but it seems like the recruiter didn't even bother looking at the times I sent because he then emailed me back saying my interview was at a time when I wasn't available. I then asked for the interview to be moved up an hour and the recruiter was accommodating and rescheduled the interview to a time when I was available.
The interviewer himself was very friendly. I was able to answer all his technical questions and I had a good interview experience overall.
But then after that, no response at all from HR. I waited the recommended one week after my interview before I tried contacting my recruiter asking about what I should expect an update on the status of my interview. Still no response. I waited another week and still no response. I finally emailed my recruiter saying I wasn't interested in continuing the interview process.
I won't be applying to EA again. HR should have the decency to let candidates know the results of their interview in a timely fashion.
