Chemist Position at New Hudson, Michigan. The whole interview process was really horrible. The lady who scheduled the interview (Talent Acquisition Specialist), emailed me half an hour before the interview saying she really had to attend a meeting and wants to reschedule (I can understand that). On the day of the rescheduled interview (zoom meeting), the lady was 5 mins late and said "there was something wrong with her camera" and she could not switch on the video! (So why schedule a zoom interview instead of a phone interview ?!). Throughout the interview, I had my video on and it was like speaking to a blank screen! Anyway the interview process went on- one of her questions were: "Do you know anything about the company or nothing at all ?" ( I had read about the company and had an understanding of what they did and hence answered her question confidently with all the details and work about the company that I had read and understood about). On the other hand, when I asked her a question about the company- she was not able to answer it! She said she will get back to me in a week and completely ghosted me. Even after having a bad experience with the whole interview process, I sent her a thank you note and followed up next week- no answer or no update. The lady was extremely unprofessional and cold. I am glad that I did not get any update or have another round of interview- it makes me wonder if it would be a similar experience. I would think twice before working here.
