- Candidate experience is subpar. Cameras NOT on consistently. Animal noises. Misunderstanding what I’d shared even via use of speech to text. Is the software working? Too many issues to name them all, but be ready for them.
- Low EQ - the most moody, fussy behavior I’ve ever encountered during an interview process. Imagine “hands holding head up, would rather be anywhere else” attitude. Asking inappropriate questions in an incriminating tone.
- CEO/Founders hired all their friends for key positions, therefore prepare for high school vs a legit org.
- All the people I encountered looked dead tired.
Tips: Clean up your recruiting process. Bring A players to the team with high EQ. Don’t like someone? Don’t show it. You are a company, not high school. Investors want results, not you fighting with candidates because of close-minded logic. Singular lines of reasoning are for conformists, not independent thinkers.
Thank you for the detailed account. The operational pieces you flagged - cameras off, software not working, communication breakdowns - are concrete and fair to raise.
What you have written is serious, and we would be open to a confidential conversation about your specific experience.
Thank you for taking the time.
