I was contacted for an internal role with Eliassen by the internal recruiter. I met with the Sr member of the team and then the department director. I came highly recommended from a colleague. Both interviews went great per all parties and there were next steps. They were excited to have me. I did all the right things, followed up via email...then a week went by. No worries, they're busy, I'll follow up. Silence. Tried one more time, still silence. Recruiter later removed me as a connection on LinkedIn. Why? The whole thing was bizarre, they came to me with a role from the start. I came well regarded. My referral got great feedback from them. To completely disappear with no feedback or follow up after all that just felt unprofessional. I was really excited about the role and had a great rapport with the three folks I interviewed with. I had industry experience and was looking forward to working with them.
