      IT Recruiter Interview

      Feb 1, 2018
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      New York, NY
      Declined offer
      Negative experience

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Eliassen Group (New York, NY) in Jan 2018

      Interview

Within 48 hours of contact I recieved a phone screen and a phone interview with a Training Manager. Everything was going quickly. After the interview I was emailed to choose a date for an in person interview. I replied and recieved no answer for almost a week. The day for my interview came and went with no contact from the recruiter. I had taken off from my current job for this interview and was completely ignored. Then I get a message asking me to come in the next day to interview. I declined very professionally and, again, recieved no answer. I do not want to work for a company that cannnot answer a simple email on multiple occasions. It is very unprofessional. It seems as though if your answer does not match with their wants or desires, you are no longer important enough to be answered, and you will be ignored. If this is how they treat possible job candidates I can't imagine how they treat employees.
