We find these to be extremely valuable in helping candidates and the hiring teams to see if the role and type of work that will be done is a good match. They also have helped us to hire in a way that has led to extremely hire new hire retention rates, meaning very few people leave within their first year employed. We would not invest in interviewing if we did not intent to actually hire candidates, so I apologize that your experience made you feel this way.
