After submitting my application, they reached out to me about an interview fairly quickly. The interview went very well and the interviewer told me to keep an eye out for the employment package. I got the confirmation from my interviewer during the interview that it is not a problem that I have not had my driver's license for 3 years. When I followed up with them later that day, they told me they could not hire me because of the driver's license issue. I understand it was a company rule but wished they would have been more clear about it and not given false hope.
