They make you take a 1-Hour online assessment that includes doing speed puzzles completely irrelevant to software engineering at all. Some of the puzzles were spacial relations and math twisters. You don’t need to know 75% of the things in their assessment to be a wonderful and skilled software engineer with coding and logic and algorithms skills. Their assessment just tests how much you like brain twisters and doing them fast.
