The interview was very structured, formal, and impersonal. The recruitment specialist gave a backgrounder on Emerson as a company but it did not suffice nor entice me to consider the job that I was interviewed for. The interviewer wanted to know about me and I willingly disclosed information. However, I did not really get to know what I wanted to know about the company. For example, I asked about the salary range for the position. The interviewer refrained from revealing the salary which was not a good indicator for me. I also asked the reason why most employees would resign. The interviewer just said that the position was a new one.
