The interview process was straight forward at first. I talked to a Recruiter who screened me on the phone and then invited me to come on site after explaining the various tiers in the Sales organization. Before finalizing a date for my first on-site, the Recruiter I spoke to asked me to touch base over the phone for 15 minutes which I thought was strange. I connected with her and she let me know that all of the Corporate Account Executive positions (the position I was set to interview for) had been filled with other candidates and proceeded to walk me through the SMB Account Executive role. The SMB role was much more junior than what I have already been doing in my career and the compensation definitely showed it, so I ended up canceling the on-site scheduling process and dropped out of candidacy. Overall I had a really strange experience during my first few interactions with Lever -- A Recruiter interviewed me for a specific role and then randomly took it back and offered me something much less suitable for my background.
