I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Employ (MA) (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2018
Interview
1. Internal referral to a member of the Customer Success team
2. Was contacted by HR within a week and set up to speak with the VP of Customer Success
3. Phone interview with VP of Customer Success, standard questions
4. Flown out for onsite within a week
5. Final round that included lunch at Lever, behavioral interviews with 5 different members of the CS team, and an hour long rapid fire question session with HR at the end
6. I was contacted within a week that I wasn't the right fit for the role, which I 100% agree with after exploring the opportunity and visiting
The process moved really quickly, everyone was really nice, and I enjoyed my on-site! I do think they could have done a little more work on the front end to determine if I was a fit before flying me out because it was a long journey for me. The end of the interview rapid fire questions about your past, hopes, and dreams was a little much, but it's clear they really care about fit. The office culture is very hipster SF tech, if that's your thing. Overall, a positive candidate experience! They walk their walk as a HR technology leader

I applied online. I interviewed at Employ (MA) in Sep 2025
Interview
At first there was tons of communication from recruiter and things were moving fast each round. I made it to the final round and did an hour long presentation. After more than one round I would expect more than an impersonal auto reply rejection email. Very disheartening and frustrating experience overall.
