      Account Executive Interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Employ (MA)

      Interview

There really isn't any way to prepare for an interview here. You could have a successful track record in the space, with 10 years of experience, but if the 15 minutes you spend answering the CEO's seemingly random and nonsensical questions doesn't jive, you're done. I literally LOST money interviewing with this place. I understand why a company this small would want the CEO involved with the hiring process, but limiting your talent pool based purely on the CEO's "gut feeling" of a candidate is ridiculous.

      Question 1

Standard interview questions from the team that were actually tied to the business - Random and cryptic questions from the CEO.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Employ (MA) (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2022

      Interview

Had a phone screen with a recruiter that seemed to go well. She said the next step was to set up a time to meet with their Sales Manager. Got an email the following week saying I was no longer being considered for the position. Bizarre turn of events but I guess I shouldn't be surprised. There are a lot of negative reviews about this company already on here and this is another striking example of how little they seem to care about their employees or potential employees. I think I actually got off easy.

      Interview

The best interview process ever! Very seamless process with an excellent recruitment team. Everyone kept me updated on the process so I never had to guess if I was still a top candidate that the team was considering or not. Interviews were always on time and no one needed to re-schedule. Worked around my schedule as well since I was in a different time zone which was great.
