Standard screening call with recruiter, general questions, discussed salary range, was told it was a new role and recruiter didn’t have much info on it yet (timing, hiring process, role expectations) and suggested I ask those things to hiring manger. 2nd interview was with hiring manager. He showed up several minutes late, seemed distracted and annoyed the whole time, then abruptly ended a minute early before answering my questions because someone else needed the conference room. He kept asking me what I had heard from the recruiter and what questions I asked her and what her answers were. It was strange. Ultimately didn’t feel like he was engaged or paying attention.
