I was called by a company recruiter for a screening interview. Definitely qualified for the role. The interview felt surprisingly awkward - long pauses between everything I said, including basic niceties and housekeeping questions. Felt more like a script / test questions than an attempt to actually learn about me or establish a rapport. I knew I would not get the job as soon as I hung up.
