I applied online. I interviewed at Ensono (Chicago, IL) in Aug 2017
Interview
Phone screen and in-person interview they do not call you back or even send you a letter with a your status of how you did. Not a professional feeling for a company to show potential employees
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ensono (Downers Grove, IL) in May 2020
Interview
I am very pleased with the overall interview process. I have applied and interviewed with many companies in the past but Ensono really handled well.
First, it started with a recruiter reaching out and discussing my profile and current requirement. Then, I was scheduled 4 panel interview with the internal management.
I have been a contractor for the past 10 years and have done lot of interviews. Some of them intimidating and harsh, others not so much. With Ensono that was not the case. I was treated very professional and everyone I interviewed with was very friendly and listening.
My recommendation is: do not go with generic speech, instead read the requirement and try to touch on everything that the role asks for. In reality, the hiring team is looking to hire someone to do certain job and they want to hear anything you have done in the past that would make them confident you will be able to manage and deliver. Try to be honest, try to be creative, ask questions.
