The position seems a little shady. There were three positions posted in their HR department two for the HR Generalist and one for the HR Associate but all with the same pay rate. One ad had they offer benefits but the other stated a monthly stipend. I applied online and within minutes I received an email to come in for an interview. I went in for the interview but the job description online was not the actual job. You are more of a recruiter than an HR Generalist. All you will be doing is sourcing and interviewing for current cleaning position. The person in the position is an HR manager but you will replace her as an HR Generalist. The online job post mentioned you will be assisting with payroll and benefits which turned out to be a lie. The company offer no benefits and payroll is handled by the home office. Again this is really just a recruiter role to help find talent and that's it. I applied for the role because it had urgently hiring and was looking to get out of my situation as quickly as possible. Since the person in the current position was leaving I figured it would be a quick process. I did my interview with the owner which really wasn't an interview. I was just asked to discuss my duties in my current position. After the interview I was told I would hear back from them regardless if I got the job or not. I have not heard back from them at all. I guess someone was already hired since notice was given from the person currently in the position. They make you take an indeed assessment about compensation and benefits which has nothing to do with the position.
