I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Environmental Defense Fund (New York, NY) in Jan 2023
Interview
HR rep was very friendly and the questions asked were very generic, which is to be expected. But after my first interview there was no further communication, which was very frustrating for me.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Environmental Defense Fund (Washington, DC) in Aug 2022
Interview
Streamlined, quick, and accessible. The first interview consisted of an HR intake, followed by a call with the director of the team you'll be working with, and lastly a call with the broader team.

Interview
I had three rounds of interviews and a written assessment.
Afterwards, I didn't hear back from them for several weeks. When I received another offer, I communicated my deadline for that offer immediatley and asked them to make a decision by then (gave them a full week). They came back to me on the day of the deadline and told me to ask for an extension with the other company. When I asked them how long the extension should be they didn't reply. Two days later they told me they were not offering me the job.
I am very disappointed in the process because I had to risk my second offer job offer to have a shot at the job.
