I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Environmental Defense Fund (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2025
Interview
Fairly easy, detailed overview given by HR which was great expectation setting from the get go and helped prepare better for the next round. Although I did not get a call back, the HR process was indicative of the culture.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Environmental Defense Fund in Jul 2025
Interview
I was contacted by the recruiter 1 month after I applied. I had a short, pleasant phone call with the recruiter. About a week later, I received an invitation to speak to the hiring manager. The hiring manager was friendly and thoughtful, and she asked straightforward questions that showed a genuine interest in my experiences and skills. Over a week later, I received a personalized rejection email from the recruiter.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Environmental Defense Fund (Washington, DC) in Jan 2023
Interview
Call with recruiter, then interview with four current team members. Both were set up by EDF with less than 24 hours notice, they also tried to set one up in a time I had already told them I was busy. Then they never reached out again, even when I followed up several weeks later, never heard from them again
