I had a Zoom meeting with a recruiter who gave an outline of the job role and what to expect for the technical interview, where I was told to be prepared to share experience with specific security tools with the hiring team. A week later I had the technical interview that lasted 1 hour where I was asked about my background with stuff from my resume and how I got into cybersecurity. The air in the technical interview seemed very stiff when I was asked questions by the hiring team. I think that was because the questions I was asked were very unclear and not anything about the specific security tools that the recruiter mentioned. I then asked lots of questions about the team and the company.
