I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Epic in Oct 2021
Interview
I am a recent graduate and an Epic recruiter reached out to me via email encouraging me to apply for the Project Manager position. I looked up the role and decided to apply.
I was contacted within a few days by another recruiter to schedule a role overview. This is an hour long online group introduction to the role - no preparation necessary. In the meantime I was also asked to do an online personality quiz, not much you can do there but respond honestly.
After the role introduction I was sent instructions to schedule a 3 hour online assessment. They claim it is to test your problem solving ability, but it is so poorly written that it is unclear what they are actually able to gather from it. I have extensive experience with standardized testing as a bachelors and masters level graduate from a top tier university. I have studied for and taken both the GRE and LSAT where the questions are clearly designed to test either reading comprehension, mathematics, logical reasoning, etc (I am planning to work for 1-2 years prior to starting law school). This assessment felt poorly worded, strangely designed and overall a waste of time. I find it ridiculous that the company would put so much weight on test scores prior to even holding an interview.
Clearly they picked up on this because based on my test scores I was not selected to move forward (LOL). Anyhow, I am much more confused than disappointed as standardized testing is an archaic form of measuring the intelligence and capabilities of an individual, especially without any interview opportunities. Take from this what you will, but I think this speaks more to the company than anything else. Im mostly relieved that now I do not need to consider moving to Wisconsin and am currently in final round interviews for major consulting firms instead.

Question 1
N/A - Was not extended interview following completion of assessment
Interview was 3 hours long. It started with a general introduction of the company with 2 different people, then a 10 min case study on how you would approach a project followed by a presentation on a topic of your choice and finally the interview segment with the HR.
Incredibly long and tedious process; it honestly just felt like whoever could last the whole time got the job, because it felt that much of a test. The "interview" was information session after information session, and the actual interview wasn't even that hard. I think it is highly dependent on your test score.
