I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Epic in Jul 2024
Interview
there'll be multiple rounds of interviews, first round would be a telephone interview, this can be done concurrently with a personality test and the technical assessment exam. The phone interview is on the easier side, where an actual current engineer or manager will ask you some simple questions to see if you are culturally fit, then they will introduce the company to you, and have you ask them any question you may have, The interviewer does not make any decisions, they simply just make a report for your response for the HR to review. The whole interview takes ~30 mins.
The personality test is composed of some math questions (very easy) , logical questions (not making many sense to me so I guess they are no-correct-answer type of questions), and some weird analogy questions (not making any sense at all), and to have you to rate yourself from most likely to unlikely for some statements or scenario. The assessment exam is lengthy (~4 hours), and you need to make an advance appointment for it.
If you pass all of the above interviews and assessment, you will be scheduled another interview with the HR, and for some people, this might be an on-site interview. You will either get or not get the offer after this final interview.
Interview questions [5]
Question 1
Where do you see yourself in the future 3-5 years professionally?
How did you learn about Epic? Why did you apply for this role? What makes you think you are a good fit for this role? Are you applying for other roles at the same time?
30 minute phone call with a technical solutions engineer, questions were related to interest in the role and long term career goals rather than technical questions. He also asked about relocating and if that’s something I would be considering.

Started with info sessions. Then broke into a room with an interviewer who asked me to assess a scenario. After that, I had an HR interview. All of these in 1-2 hours on the same day.
Initial phone interview (basic questions about resume, why interested in company and role), skills assessment (multiple parts- personality test, math and logic and coding sections), longer final interview with case study and behavioral questions.
