Interview
I submitted my CV and was subsequently contacted by telephone. There followed a telephone discussion about my experience and what expectations I had for the role. At the end of the phone discussion I was asked to attend their office for an interview. I attended their office and was interviewed by someone from HR. The interview was quite informal and unstructured. We discussed my CV and the reason why I had applied for the role. I was then told a bit about the role, when it was expected to start and the likely duration. I was then asked how soon I would be available to start the role if it was offered to me. The overall experience of the interview was very positive. I felt that they had wanted to engage me following the telephone interview and that the face to face interview was to provide me with additional information and to give me the opportunity to follow up any queries I had.

Question 1
My previous experience in document review work. They were also interested in discussing my legal experience more generally. I think they were interested in whether I would work well as part of a larger group of paralegals and lawyers. Also, they wanted to know that I would be flexible in the hours I could work. At times there are pressures to finish certain tasks within tight deadlines. They wanted to know that I would be happy to do this.
