Interview
There are two different ways to get interviewed for this position. Know someone that knows the manager, or wait in line on interview days that Equinox specifies. For the second option, all you have to do is go to the front desk and ask for more information (aka ask if they have openings or interview days). You then have a one on one interview usually with the fitness manager. This is the main phase of the interview, and is extremely important. It's all about the attitude you carry, along with how you carry yourself. SMILE. You are interviewing to become the face of Equinox, so that is what the manager will usually be looking for. Other then that, show that you are a people person that is responsible and energetic and you should be okay. It really helps if you know someone working there prior to the interview since word of mouth does a lot in Equinox.

Question 1
There honestly were no real difficult questions. It felt more like I was being judged based on appearance and how I held myself together (this position is front desk so that did make sense).
Quick phone screening, asked about my resume, asked about career experience and company knowledge, gave overview of scheduling (what shifts they offered) and asked to come in for in person interview.
Face to face interview with GM, Job offered on the spot. Easy behavioral questions and why Equinox questions. Will ask about you and your experience based on your resume. No group interviews from what I had seen.
very simple, informal in person interview asking why you are interested in this role and what you know about equinox. if you're good with a forward facing role interacting with people, especially in New York City and good at dealing with conflict
