I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at EquipmentShare (La Vergne, TN) in May 2026
Interview
First call was from recruiter and she was nice and cordial. Asked the usual questions. Was asked to do DISC assessment. Second interview was a waste of time with the hiring manager. He was unprepared and distracted. He spent the entire interview trying to talk me out of pursuing the job. He didn't seem to believe in the business or the culture and was very adamant that sales at EquipmentShare was dog eat dog.

Question 1
A lot of hypotheticals about sales situations. Without knowing the details of their CRM or their sales process as an outsider I had to fabricate hypotheticals from hypotheticals.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at EquipmentShare (Cape Girardeau, MO) in Feb 2023
Interview
Long and slow interview process. It did feel dragged out longer than it needed to be. I was very excited for this opportunity, but unfortunately did not get the job.
