I applied online. I interviewed at Equitable Advisors (Dallas, TX)
Interview
I applied online and got a call a few days later about setting up an interview. I had to take a personality test online. The first interview was very laid back. I really enjoyed the interviewer. He ended the interview by telling me how difficult it was to get started as a Financial Advisor and expressing his belief that it may not be the right time for me. There were other interviews after the first one, but we both decided that it would be a waste of my time and theirs. Though it did not end in a job, I really appreciated his honesty.
I interviewed at Equitable Advisors (New York, NY)
Interview
Quick process, show you're hungry and they'll give you a shot. Had one zoom, one in person meeting, and then a compensation breakdown. Nothing guaranteed, up to you to make money. Good for someone self motivated and will bet on themselves.

Interview
2 rounds of phone interviews and then 1 interview in office where you make a presentation about prospecting for clients once you would have the role. Phone calls were behavioral while the in office was more about your plan to succeed
