I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Equitable (Syracuse, NY) in Oct 2012
Interview
Called by recruiter and they were extremely thorough in the process should I be called, explained there would be a phone interview with several people, which was about a 15 minute call. After that got another call about a week later from one of the people whom I interviewed with on the phone and asked to stop by the work place. Walked me around the office space getting to know me, asking some basic questions and asking if the job description was clear.
The interview was very smooth and was extremely easy. I was confident going into the interview due to the recruiter giving a great example of the process going forward.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Equitable (Syracuse, NY) in Mar 2013
Interview
Applied to the position online, and after several months of not hearing anything, received an email from HQ to schedule an initial screening interview. After that interview, my information was passed along and I had a second phone interview with the head of the department, after which a week later I received a job offer. Never interviewed in person. Whole process took about 3 months. Though only about 2 weeks after I first interviewed to receive a job offer.
