I was working at Cable & Wireless when my interview process started in 2013 and same time company was being acquired by Vodafone but acquisition was not completed. Ericsson contacted me for interview for the position of NOC Manager @ Bangalore. During interview process HR was made aware of acquisition and interviews continued, they took almost 7 interviews which included final round as well with some Director from Noida. HR had told me that my all rounds are clear and they are working on offer now and suddenly they stopped responding to me, they didnt send an offer and also stopped responded to my calls and emails. I chased them for almost a month but no luck, later I contacted of my friend working there to check with HR on what's the matter and came to know that they had rejected my candidature as I was employee of Cable & Wireless which was being acquired by Vodafone and Ericsson had agreement with Vodafone not to hire their employees. They were already aware which company I was working with, they still continued the interview process for approx wasted my 1.5 months + 1 month waiting for feedback chase, where I was not at fault. Horrible experience with HR team of Ericsson.
