It took three months after the initial process to start work due to a hiring freeze, which is common. I played phone tag for about a week and finally was called in to due a physical and drug test. A week later I talked face to face with the department head and met with her again the next day. The process was casual and I started the three day orientation a week later. I had six years experience going in and I have been with this employer for about a year.
