I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Esri (Redlands, CA) in Apr 2019
Interview
Brief phone interview with management, followed by a similar phone interview with someone in HR, then brought out for the infamous all-day interview in Redlands. In-person interview was actually not that bad and I got a great grasp for what I would be doing and what the team was like. I brought some materials along and showed them my web portfolio which they really liked to reference. They also provided me with the opportunity to stay in Redlands for an extra day on their dollar so I could "interview" the area since I was coming from the east coast. Ultimately turned down the offer because of my feelings towards Redlands so that extra day proved extremely important. Remote work was not an option although I tried to negotiate for it. I would have loved the job and Esri seems like a great place to work.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Esri
Interview
Extremely laborious and protracted interview process. Had an initial 30 minute interview, followed by a more intensive 1 hour interview, followed by a full day of 4 one hour interviews.
