      Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Esri in Oct 2020

      Interview

Pretty robust. Full 8 hour interview with several people, rapid fire. Didn’t receive many technical questions. Mostly gauging personality and if I would mesh well with the team. Got to meet a lot of people both on and outside of potential team and few upper management/ division-level folks

I interviewed at Esri (Redlands, CA)

      Interview

The process was great but long, especially the last interview. The questions were a combination of technical questions, but also heavy on how you would fit into the culture. Research the history of the company.

      Technical Consultant Interview

      Dec 18, 2023
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Omaha, NE
      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Esri (Omaha, NE) in Dec 2023

      Interview

I was referred to the job by a current employee of Esri. The senior recruiter reached out to me and scheduled a phone conversation. We talked about the position for an hour, my qualifications, and my interest in the position. This led to me gaining my first interview. The first interview was with the director of defense services, the division my position would fall under if I accepted the job. We talked for about 40 minutes, some casual conversations of getting to know each other, some more typical interview style questions. I left the interview feeling optimistic. About a week later, I received an email from the recruiter that they would like to move forward and schedule a final interview with me. That interview is a long, all-day process. I spoke with 10 different people throughout the day, all from varying branches of the company, covering a wide range of conversational topics. While the all-day interview schedule was extremely daunting at first, going through it the day actually flew by pretty quick, and was rather enjoyable just talking with them. I was extremely impressed with the culture of Esri and would recommend them to anyone.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

      - Why are you interested in joining Esri? - Describe some projects that you have been involved with. What are some things that well during that project, and what are some things that could have been improved? - Would you be open to travel if hired? What percentage? - What experience do you have in coding? Data Science?
