I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at EssilorLuxottica in Jul 2024
Interview
I was approached by a Talent Acquisition recruiter via Linkedin early June, informing me about the position and how my profile looks like a fit. I applied for the position and not even 2 weeks later I received a rejection email. Naturally, I believed that this was the end of the recruitment process.
Fast forward to mid July and I received a call from one of the recruiters asking me if I was interested in the position and asking me some initial profile questions. I asked why are they contacting me since I was already rejected. The answer was to “Not care about it” (?). At this point, I believed that this was a scam.
One week later I received an email from the recruiter to complete an online assessment (English skills, Logical skills and Personality). It was really challenging but I don’t think they expect you to score 100%.
After that I passed to the HR virtual interview. This was followed with a group interview where I had to “compete” with other candidates on Business Cases. Having passed that, I was invited to an interview with the technical managers in the beginning of September. Since I waited for over 3 weeks and no feedback, I reached out to the recruiter I was talking to and I got ghosted. I received my rejection letter after 1.5 months from the last interview with the automated classic response.
I feel that I wasn’t respected and that they don’t even value your time at all to give you a simple HUMAN response.
