My initial interview was odd and so was the process. My interview was initially suppose to be 30 mins but ran to 1 hour. I could tell offhand that they've likely already chosen their candidates because when I referred to my experience on my resume I was informed that she had not even read it. While I like the conversational style interview and was hopeful to receive next steps for a 2nd interview I was instead provided with 2 contacts from the team and was asked to contact them to gain more information about their experience and day to day. I did this and never received an invite to do a 2nd interview and followed up a week later with no response but instead received a generic automated email stating that the position had been filled. My only disappointment is that I would've liked to known that prior to contacting members of the team.
