I underwent a phone screening and an interview with the hiring manager, which, on the whole, was an easy and swift process. The hiring manager was both knowledgeable and highly professional. In fact, she even went so far as to tell me that I was an ideal match for the job. However, she did mention that she needed to confer with her manager about my profile. Unfortunately, after that conversation, I never received any further communication from her. Despite following up with two emails, I never received a response from her. Needless to say, this was a rather disappointing end to what had been a very promising interview process.
