First interview was a standard call with HR, but the technical interview was one of those tedious live coding exercises with two dudes looking at your screen while you're trying to think. The exercise was fixing what was wrong with the code by refactoring and making changes based on OOP principles and design patterns. It's not that the exercise itself was difficult, but they need to drop this tedious format, one thing is trying to solve a small algo with two dudes looking at your screen, another is trying to fix a whole damn file under those conditions. There's a saying that goes: "You're not Google, so you can't hire like Google".
