I applied for the job posted in July and about two weeks I received a call for an interview. I was interviewed by two women who were nice and welcoming. The interview was only supposed to last about 20 to 30 minutes, but I am a little bit of a talker so it lasted longer. They asked me why I wanted to work for RTI, and I replied that I have a Bachelors in Health Admin/Info Systems. The interview process to me was very relaxed and it felt more like I was just having a normal conversation with the managers. Both women seem intrested in what I had to say. I had told the managers that I am more than willing to work on any project and help out in any way that I can for being a new person. The ladies informed me that it would take a while for HR to get in contact with me, and that either way I was going to be notified of the outcome.The manager had informed me that the department was understaffed and they needed to fill the postion very fast; also that not many people had applied for the job. Whith that being said; I have to admit that threw me off guard when i was not offered the job. I guess I had miss interpreted what she had ment by saying that not too many people had applied for the job. The good news is that RTI will inform you either way, which companies these days are quick to not give you any feedback.
