Interview
I am here to complain 2 things. I went through the first round phone interview. I was scheduled a second round interview. After days of preparation, my interviewer had a no show at the scheduled interview time. I was waiting for the call for one hour before I finally gave up. I emailed the HR right away. The HR didn't reply until the next day asking me to reschedule the second round phone interview. I told him that I had several pending offers at that time with deadlines in the soon future and hoped I could skip the second phone interview and jump straight into the onsite part. Then that HR never replied me and the application process was aborted. I feel very disrespected for the no show and no reply. I am confident with my abilities and skills to ask for skipping a round. I also have a good reason for that request. I know my friends successfully skip the second round of phone interview. I have also heard stories that some people lied that they had pending offer to get their interview process speeded up (this is an issue not just for Pure Storage).
I also feel like I have wasted a lot of time and feel more upset for preparing for the interview after knowing that the interview questions NEVER change for years after years after years. Literally almost all applicants know what the questions are for EVERY SINGLE ROUND. Instead of preparing, what they do is more like rehearsing to answer the question in the most perfect way.
I eventually settled with a great offer from one of the FLAG company. As a new grad, my interview process was tough and long. But I felt like I have been treated with respect by every companies excep Pure Storage.
From the engineering perspective, Pure Storage is definitely a company with good product and service. However, they should have put more effort in the hiring process and make sure it is FAIR. If no change is made in the future, good luck Pure Storage to hire the "best talents" in the next a few years with the same attitude and questions.

In my coding challenge I was asked two coding questions and eight Multiple Choice Questions. The coding questions were relatively easy, I would say Easy to medium level leetcode type questions.
