Interview
I got the interview at a career fair where Pure Storage was handing out coding questions on paper. After submitting that to the recruiter, they immediately told me that I would move on to the next round. The first actual interview was on my college campus. I was asked a concurrency question about 'workers' and a 'multiworker' where each worker had a job to do and the multiworker kept track of them. Then I moved on to the on-site interview at Mountain View. The technical questions they asked me were the same as everyone else, posted here on glassdoor. Perhaps they'll get around to changing them in the future, perhaps not. The employees were personable, made me feel welcome. The other interviewees and I were given a proper lunch (but not a proper breakfast, all they had was donuts). I felt like I did really well, but didn't get an offer. Maybe it was because my resume was poor, or maybe it was because they could tell that I read about their interview questions on glassdoor and already knew them. Oh well.
