I received a call from the recruiter and was told the interview here consists of 3 steps: - online test - 2x 1 hour online interview / coding session with developers from california - 3x 1 hour interview with developers onsite in prague. - final interview with manager Immediately at that point I was hesitating whether to even go through with it as honestly this is very "heavy" process comparing to competition in Prague (might be regular for Cali idk) but the company looked interesting, plus they are just starting in Prague so it seemed as an opportunity. The test consists of 2 coding questions and 10 theoretical a,b,c,d. Coding questions are of average difficulty yet the description is quite confusing, had to read it multiple times and lost some precious time there, so beware. I also recommended to play with hackerrank before the interview bcz even though it is pretty good environment it has some gaps. Now, regarding theoretical questions this was a bit strange as most of them were not directly related to programming as much as to overall computer science - university material. A fresh graduate has definitely better chance here than experienced programmer. ---------- I finished the online test and they called me soon after that I passed and we can proceed with step 2 (cali calls) . Great, we arranged the calls to take place next week but the day before they called me that it is actually cancelled as they "pushed the bar higher" huh. Well a bit unprofessional to switch strategy that late, but I do understand that perhaps they had a lot of ppl that did better after me and pushed me down in the scoreboard, ok fair enough. Good luck
