Interview
I was initially contacted by one of the recruiters via LinkedIn. I did my Glassdoor search. Set up a 30 minute call with the recruiter. To say least the recruiter had ZERO idea of any of my questions. I asked basic questions on requirement for position. She had no idea on different type of visas/ work permits. I mean she knew nothing. A few days later I get an email that the company decided not to go with when I never applied… lack knowledge on technical questions. What a waste of 30 minutes. What a joke of a recruiter… which makes the company a joke.

Question 1
Recruiter asked questions about cloud and other technologies.
After submitting my application, I was contacted by a Pure Storage recruiter for a screening interview. After that I got an interview with the hiring manager. Though I didn't get the initial position for which I applied (they hired from within) the recruiter suggested I apply for a position with a different manager, different shift. I interviewed with that manager. Both managers were very good, communicated very well and I was comfortable with both of them. The recruiter followed up with me a couple of times before I got the call offering me the job.

Aside from passing a skills test, they were looking for someone who was a good fit for the team.
I am contacted by them and they said they will offer the role and there was no update after that point. I reached out to them couple of times but there was no reply and no reason why they wouldn't inform.
