I was contacted through an outside recruiter for this position. Was asked about my experience with SAN storage and fibre channel. Had a phone interview with a technical engineer. He asked about questions about SAN infrastructure, differences between HDD's and SSD's. I felt that I did a decent job with this section. Was asked to come in for an in person interview. Meet with the site manager. This was a very positive experience. He was able to convey the culture and mentality of the company. Spoke briefly about what the future might hold for the company. After meeting with the manager, there was a technical interview. This was very difficult. I felt that I bombed this interview horribly. Asked questions about RAID, especially RAID 4. Did not know that this was a RAID type. Asked more questions SAN setup and redundancy.
