Got an offer from Google. Still wanted to try for Pure as it might help me stay in the same domain.
Cleared online coding round, telephonic round and was called for a two round interview first day.
Interviewer suggested a data structure and asked me to define data structure.
defined it. He was not comfortable with the data structure and he defined his own and we compared both. Each has its own advantages and disadvantages.
Asked me to code a lookup functionality into the data-structure.
Missed some NULL check. I understood that he was waiting for the finish line.
He said, you can leave after this round, we are looking for somebody strong in algorithms and data-structures.
His expressions and sigh's made me totally uncomfortable there.
If given a chance, I would like to interview him not as a revenge but to understand the standard of engineers at pure.
pure is an all arrogant party.
Everybody must try it at-least for fun :-)
One thing I liked is getting rejected in the first round which saved a lot of time.

OA and then 4 short interview rounds. Focused on algorithms/system design/ parallel programming.
All very enjoyable and the interviewers always started with some simpler version of the problem and then gradually started requesting features/ adding restrictions.

In my coding challenge I was asked two coding questions and eight Multiple Choice Questions. The coding questions were relatively easy, I would say Easy to medium level leetcode type questions.

So far had the coding test on HackerRank which was relatively easy. Two coding challenges and then 8 multiple-choice questions I think. The coding tasks are the leet-code level simple problems like counting objects in the input data etc.
