Was approached by a recruiter in the company via LinkedIn to have a call for a position as a manager on the DFM firmware team. I'm very well experienced in this area so was pleased they found me and reached out to me. Arranged the call, spent the time in between researching the company, its culture, and its products, listened to some company presentations on their website and YouTube to prepare. Come the phone call with the recruiter, I was asked about my last position, salary expectations and that was pretty much it. I was polite and respectful throughout. It took 11 minutes in total. Couple of days later, I was informed they wouldn't proceed with my application (even though I didn't actually apply - they reached out to me). Asked the recruiter several times for feedback to help me understand where I had something missing, but was ghosted completely. Confused and disappointed by my experience with the company and their poor communication.
