The company asked me to submit a 10-page case study within 7 days after my initial review, before I had met the team or spoken with the hiring manager. Most companies only ask for this level of detailed case studies when you are in the final stages. Asking for so much heavy lifting before one even gets to the final stages is unfair and inconsiderate.
