Initial round (sourccer) and the next one (hiring manager) were straight forward. The hiring manager was well prepared and gave a great overview of the company, the team and the role.
The final round was 4 rounds spread out in the course of the same day, with 4 different people over video. Two were peers of this role and two were higher ups.
Three of these four went well with my interviewers showing respect to my time and my background. The fourth, with a peer, was one of the most horrible interview experiences of my life.
She joined the call 10 minutes late, offered one very quick apology and dove into the questions. She obviously had not been prepared for the interview because she kept asking about things that were outside the scope of the role that I was interviewing for (none of the other interviewers did this). She also had an extremely condescending tone once I tried making her realize that her questions were on topics that were not within the scope of the role. She ended the interview without any information about next steps.
Overall, that soured my interview process completely. There is an obvious gap in the process of briefing the intervieiwers about the role that they are interviewing candidates for.
