In many ways Pure Storage conducts their interviewing process more like a startup - there will be times of furious interaction with them and then weeks or silence.
I interviewed for two positions with Pure in the past six months and was a top finalist (2-3) in both positions. At the last minute the first position was moved from the west to east coast with the only justification being "that's where we want it now." For the second position they required a panel presentation and upon completion of the presentation they decided not to move to an offer with ANY of the finalists -- which indicates there is something wrong with their hiring process or they have unrealistic expectations of the candidates.
Be wary of investing time with Pure during the hiring process as they have a track record of changing things around at the last minute.
