Everpure Senior Site Reliability Engineer interview questions

The interview process was composed of several stages, meeting members of the team, manager and developer for coding challenge. Everything went well and I good very good feedback ( as per the recruiter ), but they decided to not extend a final offer because of the coding interview. It was really disappointing after all the invested time, because I asked about the importance of coding skills in all interviews and they answered every time that it was not important at all, so I felt it a complete waste of time and an awfully programmed hiring process, because having known about the importance of coding since the beginning, I had not invest so much time.
